Dominique Dock thinks health is the result of many factors; some cannot be changed, like gender, the colour of your eyes, others can and it is our freedom and our duty to learn how we can cultivate our health.
Health is the result of a process, not a destination that you reach and then sit back and relax.and get the "doctor" to "make" you healthy.
He is trained in Neuro-Linguistic-Programming, Ericksonian Hypnosis, EFT, Homeopathy, Nutrition and Hydrotherapy.
Dominique is also a Mountain-guide, and nature and its beauty often allows him to recharge his batteries.
Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Energy Medicines, like Chi Gong, Yoga and Pilates, are tools that he is aware of and refer to on a daily basis.
"Be Still and Know". Dr. Sutherland, founder of osteopathy in the cranial field.
Joelle’s great love for Freediving has long been the source of her deep awareness of the human body, and the magnificent abilities it has, if we just listened in.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Joelle worked in the corporate world at Morgan Stanley Investment bank. Despite her high profile job, she was always drawn to the ‘workings’ of the human body and healing. Her interest in yoga, lead her then to train as a certified Anusara yoga teacher.
She discovered the profound effects of craniosacral therapy when she sought out help for her migraines, which she had suffered from since childhood. Within a few sessions they had dissipated. She also experienced further unexpected benefits such as an increase in energy, deep relaxation and emotional balance. The feeling of wellbeing was so pervasive and transformative that she knew then and there that this is what she wanted to do.
Joelle graduated from The College of Craniosacral Therapy in London and continues to develop her skills with on-going postgraduate courses. Her treatments do not look for the dis-ease, but rather the health with-in each person. She works with her clients to reconnect them with their body, and become more present and aware of what it really feels like, with no judgment, while giving way to their natural capacity of healing.
Marthe is a Norwegian Yoga Alliance Certified Specialist in the healing and medicinal style of Anukalana Yoga. She is the first and only Anukalana teacher in Great Britain, and has studied it with the great master and founder, Jacopo Ceccarelli, in an ashram near Florence, Italy.
Throughout her entire life she has been doing all sorts of sports. The potential power of achieving excellent control and focus of body and mind using sports and activities captured her interest from a very early age on, and is something she has successfully applied when power walking marathons as well as when becoming Norwegian National Champion in Taekwon-do in 1999 and 2000. In 2001 the Taekwon-do gave her a severe head injury, but by the help of using this technique on a cellular level along with neuro chiropractic treatments and yoga, she brought herself back to 100 % recovery, beyond every doctor's belief. When shortly after discovering the amazing works of Anukalana, and how this technique truly applies even more so to this specific style of yoga, she decided to share the gift of healing oneself with others through teaching Anukalana.
Anukalana Yoga is based on White Tantra (the original ancient Indian science of life caring for body, mind and spirit with a holistic approach, both on an individual and environmental level), Taoism, Qi-gong and Tai Chi. It has an amazing effect with its relaxing yet rejuvenating and energising specific detailed flow that consciously incorporates every cell in your body using its unique breathing and spinal movement techniques.
In addition Marthe also teaches meditation and yogic lifestyle coaching including nutritional consultation, breathing techniques and ayurveda, all based on a holistic individualised approach.
